Bolivian artist, Paul Jove better known as Pituko, releases his 5th official mixed cd as a dj. Two cds is the chosen format this time; cd 1 is more upbeat w/many sounds tending towards the techno side of things starting with a couple of compositions by Pituko... then comes the playfulness at times with repetative climaxes with the tracks by Tigerskin, Elon... then follows groovers like a remix of Stefen Tretau's "Leere Welten" by Agaric or "our noise" by Paul C. & LucaMorris... atmospheres are also heard by artists Higher Intelligence Agency, Sonnox (Bolivia) & Minilogue. Cd 2 begins with "Perspective" by Sleeparchive... a deep chilled out tune especially for those mornings when u just need a breather after a long nights' worth of dancing/sound. This cd is divided into three sections giving the listener a feel for a variety of 'chilled' techno escapes...anywhere from the tech-house of Dan Drastic's "Somebody's touching me" through Pablo Bolivar's deep uplifting "Just perfect landscapes"; the funkedout tracks by Makossa & Megablast as well as Murat Tepeli Feat. Prosumer and throwing in Gus Gus to reference back a few years. Mixed and Unmixed are the formats for this particular cd...because we sometimes forget that it's also about the music.
